The Lake ahead, a sell-out crowd on its feet, and the rider going clear at Badminton is yours. In this personalised storybook your child dreams of Badminton, learns the Duke's secret, gets the phone call to ride, sees their name on the big screen, hears the crowd chant it and rides their own horse through the Lake and over the last rail to become Badminton champion.
- Their name on the front, spine and back cover, through the story, in the crowd's chant and up on the big screen
- Their own horse: you choose its name and one of 20 coats, and it is painted through the story, from the riding school to the Lake
- Their own rider card with their horse, hometown and birthday, beside a personal dedication from you
- A rider built to match: 8 skin tones, 17 hair styles in 10 colours, eye colour, optional glasses and freckles, and riding boots in the colour they choose
- A letter from the Badminton Horse Trials Event Director addressed to them, a little history of Badminton and a list of eventing terms with their rider in every pose
How it works
Tell us their name and build their rider and horse in the YATS Book Builder; you see the hero before you order. Printed in full colour, 50 pages, in hardback or softback, in English and ten other languages.
The moment. Their name. The page they never forget.
Every copy opens on a single moment, the one your child has replayed in their head a hundred times. This is the one you give them.
Not a template with a name swapped in.
Every spread adapts. Their hair. Their kit. Their hometown. The story bends to the child, not the other way round.
In this personalised storybook your child dreams of Badminton, learns the Duke's secret, gets the phone call to ride, sees their name on the big screen, hears the crowd chant it and rides their own horse through the Lake and over the last rail to become Badminton champion.
Every point of personalisation. Every one of them.
This is where the book stops being a product and becomes a keepsake. Every one of these is woven into every copy.
A proper story. From the first page to the last.
Written as a story first, with the personalisation woven through every spread. One arc, and an ending that earns the word keepsake.
I · Where the dream begins
II · Their name on the big screen
III · The crowd chants their name
