Accessibility Statement
We want every family to be able to use YATS with ease. We're committed to meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards and improving continually.
01Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is considered in our design and build process, not bolted on afterwards.
02What we do
Semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus styles, sufficient colour contrast, descriptive alt text, and respect for reduced-motion preferences across animated pages.
03Assistive technology
The site is built to work with modern screen readers and browser zoom. Forms are labelled and error messages are clear and programmatically associated.
04Known limitations
Some richly animated story pages offer a reduced-motion fallback. If you encounter a barrier anywhere, please tell us, we treat accessibility issues as priority fixes.
05Get in touch
If you need a document in another format, or hit an accessibility problem, contact us and we'll help and put it right.
