First book: Book 1 Already have some of the books?
The club sends the book you choose first. Each month after that it sends the earliest book it has not sent you yet, then carries on in order. On Quick buy, any Quick buy books you have already bought from us are skipped.
You pay for the first book today. Each book after it is charged a month after the one before.
When your child has every book so far, the club pauses and you are not charged. It starts again when the next story is released.

Questions
How does the Book Club work?
Choose Personalised or Quick buy and pay for the first book when you join. After that, one book a month is charged and posted, in order from Book 1, and never the same book twice.
When will I be charged?
When you join, for the first book. Then once a month, a month after the last payment, for the next book. Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
What happens when we have every book?
The club pauses on its own and you are not charged. When the next Historic Moment is released, it starts again: that book is charged and sent, and the club carries on from there.
How do I cancel?
Pause or cancel any time in your account: sign in, then open the Book Club tab and choose Pause or Cancel next to your membership. Pausing means no payments until you restart; once it is cancelled, no further payments are taken and books you have already paid for still arrive. You can also email mail@youarethestarbooks.com. Books you have already received follow the returns rules for their edition.
We already have some of the books. Can we start later?
Yes: choose your first book when you join. The club sends that book first, then each month the earliest book it has not sent you yet, then carries on in order. On Quick buy, any Quick buy books you have already bought from us are skipped.
What is the difference between the editions?
Personalised puts your child's name and avatar on the cover and in the story. You set them up once in the Book Builder and every book is made for them. Quick buy is the Wrex the Dragon edition: the story as printed, ready to read and not personalised. Both are paperbacks, and both unlock the Library episode.
Is it a true story?
Yes. Each book retells a real Wrexham match: the date, the score and the minute are real. The words are ours.
